James J. Caruolo, Attorney

Mr. Caruolo, president and founder of the Law Offices of James J. Caruolo, Esq. earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhode Island College and was awarded his Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University School of Law. He is a former Special Assistant Attorney General where he served as both an appellate attorney before the Rhode Island Supreme Court and later as a senior trial attorney in the Narcotics & Organized Crime Unit for the Rhode Island Department of Attorney General. Mr. Caruolo also has had the distinction of serving as legal counsel to the Rhode Island General Assembly.
Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, Mr. Caruolo has diligently represented clients in both criminal and civil matters and has solidly established himself as a leading attorney in the areas of real estate transactions and real estate litigation.
Mr. Caruolo is an active member of the Rhode Island Mortgage Bankers Association and the Rhode Island Association of Realtors where he currently teaches accredited real estate courses on Foreclosures, Short Sales and REO Sales. Presently, he serves on the boards of the RI Mortgage Bankers Association and the Elizabeth Buffum Chase Center.
Along with sharing his time on multiple organizations, he generously supports many charitable institutions such as The March of Dimes, Special Olympics, Muscular Dystrophy, The American Red Cross, and Habitat for Humanity.

William M. Walsh, Attorney

Attorney William M. Walsh graduated magna cum laude from Providence College, ranking ninth in his class, and was awarded his Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law. He is a member of the Rhode Island Bar and the Massachusetts Bar and is licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island and the First Circuit Court of Appeals for the United States. Attorney Walsh is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Rhode Island Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. As a former Special Assistant Attorney General, he served as both an appellate attorney with the Civil Division and later as the attorney assigned to handle the caseload for the Department of Social and Rehabilitative Services (now the Department of Human Services).
Attorney Walsh has extensive experience in litigation encompassing civil, criminal and domestic matters and has had the distinction of serving as the bail commissioner for the Rhode Island District Court since 1984, currently assigned to the city of East Providence.
A Rhode Island native, Attorney Walsh is honored to have held the title of President, Vice President, Secretary and Director of the Rumford Lions Club, District 42 of the Lions International, where he has been a prominent member since 1977. Attorney Walsh is pleased to serve the needs of his local communities.
